One day my daughter asked me why she should stick to the rules and follow what the said told her to paint. There was only one answer. We disregarded the outlines and painted whatever we wanted to. PAINT BY NUMBERS is a direct response to the kids paint sets (of the same name) - that to me, totally constrict creativity. This series stands up to the un-originality that paint by numbers sets encourage. These paintings offering a more passionate, vulnerable and braver version of creativity.
